What about Eduroam connectivity?
We can broadcast Eduroam alongside your private resident network, allowing students to use university credentials seamlessly in common areas.
Can we charge for higher-tier speeds?
Yes. Our portal supports tiered billing if you wish to offer ‘Gaming Pro’ or ‘Creative’ packages as an additional revenue stream.
What is the lead time for a 500-bed refit?
Typically 2-4 weeks from sign-off to go-live, depending on the existing structured cabling condition.
Do you provide 24/7 onsite support?
99% of issues are resolved remotely within minutes. We have a national network of field engineers for hardware replacements if required.
Who owns the hardware after the contract?
The building owner. The hardware belongs to your property after the engagement. We also offer financing options for owners who’d prefer to spread the capital cost, plus a Liveport-as-a-Service model for owners who want operational expense over capital expense.
Can students use their own routers?
We actively discourage it as it creates interference. Our PAN architecture provides the same privacy benefits as a private router without the clutter.
