Every Liveport network starts the same way.
Survey first, every time. Then Liveport runs the entire WiFi project end-to-end, cabling, AP and switch programming, PMS integrations, captive portal, AV and TV install, vendor coordination, so the owner has one phone number for the whole job. From a 30-room boutique to a 1,000+ bed PBSA tower, same discipline since 2008.
Owning the WiFi means owning everything that touches it.
A WiFi project on a real property is never just access points. Cabling has to run. Switches and firewalls have to be programmed. The PMS has to talk to the captive portal. TVs have to arrive, get unboxed, mounted and the rubbish hauled away. Other vendors, security, BMS, admin, usually want the same network with their own VLAN. Liveport carries every piece, so the owner has one phone number and one accountability line.
WiFi engineering
Network design, AP / switch / firewall programming, deploy and commissioning. The core engineering job.
Structured cabling
Cabling design, runs, terminations and patching coordinated alongside the wireless build. We manage the cabling subcontractors so you do not have to.
PMS & middleware integration
Opera, Mews, RMS, StarRez and the rest, captive portal authentication, room-folio billing, check-in automation. We coordinate directly with the PMS vendor and middleware company so the integration just works.
Multi-vendor VLAN orchestration
Security, BMS, admin and other tenants regularly want a slice of the same network. Liveport allocates each their own VLAN, subnet, ACLs and bandwidth budget, so a CCTV vendor never sees your guest traffic.
TV & AV install
TV delivery booking, room-by-room distribution, bracket and mount install, unboxing, rubbish removal, GuestCast and Smartroom configuration. The work nobody wants to coordinate, included.
VoIP & voice
Business phone systems set up alongside the network, guest-room phones, back-of-house extensions, paging, on-net and off-net dialling. Same VLAN strategy, same single contract.
Project management
Single point of contact for the owner. Liveport runs the schedule, coordinates trades, hits the milestone dates, keeps everyone honest. Trackable spreadsheets per area, per floor, per building for bigger jobs.
Multi-building site surveys
Hospitals and resorts often span six, twelve, sixteen buildings. Liveport tracks every survey area, every signed-off zone, every outstanding access request, so the owner sees exactly what is done and what is still to do.
Operator handover
Dashboard training, runbook, escalation contacts, change-management policy. Then the same engineers stay on the support line, there is no handoff between projects and ops.
All of the above is one Liveport contract, one Australian-managed bill, one accountability line. The owner makes one call when something needs doing. We handle the carriers, the vendors, the trades, the cabling crews and the TV pallets.
Most WiFi underperforms because it was sold before it was surveyed.
Someone counted rooms, multiplied by an AP count, sent a quote. The network arrived sized to a spreadsheet, not a building. Six months later, the guests are leaving one-star reviews and the GM is back at procurement. That is the industry default, we do not do it.
Every Liveport project, including the small ones, starts with a survey. Predictive RF from floor plans pre-build, on-site Ekahau in retrofits. Proposal sized to the actual building. Costs us a day or two upfront; saves the customer six months of misery on the back end.
Survey before any hardware is committed.
Predictive heatmap from your floor plans pre-build, or full Ekahau walk-through in operating buildings. Apartment interiors, common areas, lifts, stairwells, basement, rooftop. Every dead zone identified before a cable is run.
The heatmap comes with the proposal. You see exactly where the APs go and why, and you see where they don’t, so you’re not paying for hardware you don’t need.

Design that respects your building.
VLAN strategy mapped to every use-case running on the network, guest, staff, IoT, payments, clinical, signage. Each on its own slice, each with its own access policy. Captive portal mocked up in your branding before any cabling.
PMS integration scoped with your team. Payment flows reviewed with your finance department. Failover and bandwidth-pressure thresholds set with your ops. Nothing happens on-site until the design is signed off on paper.

Deploy where the heatmap says.
Out-of-hours installs in operating buildings, coordinated with housekeeping, clinical staff, infection control or residents, whoever needs to know. APs placed where the survey says they have to be, not where the cable run is shortest.
Commissioned floor-by-floor. Tested with real load. Signed off room-by-room before the next shift starts. The network is live the day it’s scheduled to be live.

Support from the team that built it.
24/7 NOC. 45-second average answer. 90% first-call resolution. The engineer who picks up your 2am call already has your building’s telemetry on screen, they don’t need to be briefed.
That works because the same team that designed your network is the team that supports it. There is no handoff between projects and ops. The people who scoped your VLAN are the people who fix it when something drifts.

A typical mid-size project, week by week.
Predictive heatmap from floor plans (greenfield) or on-site Ekahau walk (retrofit). Stakeholder interviews, IT, ops, facilities and clinical teams where relevant. Heatmap and proposal delivered end-of-week.
VLAN strategy, PMS integration scope, captive-portal mockup, payment-flow review. Quote signed off. Hardware ordered.
Cabling, AP mounting, Gateway commissioning, integrations live. Out-of-hours where needed. Tested with real load floor-by-floor.
Soft go-live with monitoring. Operator dashboard handover to your ops team. Full live the day it was scoped.
Same engineers, on the phone, every hour, every day. Telemetry-driven proactive support. Faults spotted on the dashboard before your front desk notices.
Same four chapters. Five different jobs.
