What Liveport business internet delivers

Four ways we keep the property online.

router

NBN Enterprise

Business-grade NBN with fixed IPs, 4-hour business-day SLA, business-class routing. Not the same product as your home connection.

satellite_alt

Starlink Business

Star-priority and Starlink Business installed across Australian regional and remote properties. Where fibre will never come.

hub

SD-WAN bonding

Fibre + NBN + Starlink + 4G/5G bonded into one logical link. Auto-failover in seconds, bandwidth aggregation under normal load. Guests, residents and clinicians never see the cutover.

settings_ethernet

Dedicated fibre, built to the property

Single-mode fibre lead-in laid directly to the property MDF. Symmetrical 1, 2.5, 5 or 10 Gbps active handoff with fixed IP and BGP-capable edge. Liveport coordinates the wholesale build, civils, fibre patch and SD-WAN edge, typical lead time 6–12 weeks depending on civils and lead-in distance.

location_on

Australian metro + regional

Same managed service from Sydney CBD to remote NT. Liveport coordinates all carriage activations and runs the field service network across the country.

support_agent

One Australian-managed contract

Liveport carries every carrier on your behalf, fibre wholesale, NBN, Starlink, mobile. One contract, one bill, one Torquay phone number for the day everything fails at once. 45-second answer, 90% first-call.

Spec sheet

Business internet, technical specifications.

Dedicated Fibre (primary)Wholesale-grade fibre lead-in built directly to the property. 1 to 10 Gbps symmetrical, 99.95%+ uptime SLA, 4-hour metro fault response, sub-10ms latency. Default primary for hotels over 100 rooms, PBSA, BTR, hospitals.
NBN Enterprise (primary or failover)Business-class NBN with fixed IPs, 4-hour business-day SLA, symmetrical upload where available. Used as primary on smaller sites under 100 rooms, or as SD-WAN failover under dedicated fibre on larger properties.
StarlinkStarlink Business and Star-priority for regional and remote Australian properties. Site survey for line-of-sight, mounting, cable run, indoor router placement.
Mobile backhaul4G/5G failover or primary connectivity where appropriate. Carrier-agnostic, Telstra, Optus, Vodafone.
SD-WAN bondingAll three carriages bonded into one logical link. Failover automatic in seconds. Bandwidth aggregation under normal load.
RoutingBusiness-class routing on the Liveport Gateway. Per-VLAN QoS, traffic shaping, captive-portal queueing.
MonitoringPer-link throughput, packet loss, jitter visible to operator dashboard and Liveport NOC. Alert thresholds configurable.
Contract length24 months on NBN Enterprise. Starlink monthly through Liveport. SD-WAN bonded service 12 months minimum.
Support24/7 engineers. 45-second average answer. 90% first-call resolution. We hold the carrier accountable so you don’t have to.

Business internet, questions GMs and IT teams ask.

Why dedicated fibre instead of NBN as the primary?

expand_more

Liveport runs a wholesale-grade fibre lead-in directly to the property as primary because dedicated fibre gives you a symmetrical, contended-only-by-you circuit with a hard SLA, the difference guests, residents and clinical staff actually feel at peak hour. NBN Enterprise still has a place as primary on smaller properties where fibre lead-in does not pencil, or as SD-WAN failover behind fibre. Starlink Business handles the rest.

Do hotels, PBSA, BTR and aged care all use the same carriage stack?

expand_more

Same architecture, different sizing. A 200-room hotel and a 1,000-bed PBSA tower both want dedicated fibre primary + NBN/Starlink failover, they just want different speed tiers. Use the hotel or PBSA/BTR calculator to size the carriage for your specific property. Aged care and hospital sites layer on clinical-grade VLAN segmentation; the carriage layer underneath is the same.

How does this fit with Liveport managed WiFi?

expand_more

This is the carriage layer that sits underneath. Every Liveport managed-WiFi deployment, hotels, PBSA, BTR, aged care, hospitals, needs internet to a property edge. Liveport supplies that edge as a single contract, so you do not have to triangulate between an MSP and three carriers when something breaks.

What’s the SLA?

expand_more

Dedicated fibre: 99.95%+ uptime, 4-hour metro fault response, hard SLA backed by tier-1 wholesale. NBN Enterprise: 4-hour business-day response. Starlink: best-effort with Liveport NOC monitoring + auto-failover. SD-WAN bonded across primary + failover: typically 99.99% effective uptime because no single link is the SPOF.

What about regional properties without good NBN?

expand_more

Starlink + 4G/5G bonded. Most regional Australian sites get 100-200 Mbps reliable that way. Better than waiting for fibre.

Can we keep our existing ISP and add Starlink for failover?

expand_more

Yes. We can bond your existing NBN with a new Starlink under SD-WAN. Existing contract stays; we add resilience and carry the management.

What’s the contract length?

expand_more

Standard 24 months on NBN Enterprise; Starlink is monthly through Liveport. Bonded SD-WAN service is 12 months minimum.

Who do I call when the internet is down?

expand_more

1800 414 823. engineer in 45 seconds. We hold the carrier accountable so you don’t have to be on hold to NBN.
